- Coldwell was TEA Recognized in 2006 and 2008. In 2009 Coldwell received TEA Exemplary status.
- School Song: While looking through the School History, I found this version of the school song. It was composed in 1930-1931 by Katherine Price and sung to the tune of "Maryland, My Maryland."

- History: Coldwell Elementary opened on September 3, 1930 as a Kinder thru Seventh grade school with 20 teachers and 447 students. It is named after Judge William Michie Coldwell. In 2005, Coldwell celebrated its 75th anniversary.
Currently Coldwell Elementary is a Pre-Kinder thru Fifth grade school with 45 teachers and approximately 424
students.
